Software update instructions

Note: this procedure is not necessary for a new console. This is only required to update the software of an existing console.

1. Connect the USB device containing the software update.
2. Access the Settings screen and select System / Functions / Console.
3. Select UPDATE CONSOLE SOFTWARE.

When this option is selected, a message is displayed notifying that the console will be rebooted.

4. Confirm the message. The console is rebooted and the software update is loaded.

The console asks if the user wants to restore all user data to the state prior to the update.

WARNING: If No is selected, all data saved on the console will be deleted.
