Unauthorised modification of the device may void homologation and the warranty, and result in suspension of authorisation to operate the device itself.
The receiver contains an internal radio modem which may potentially transmit signals. As legislation varies from country to country, contact your dealer and the local authorities for information on the frequencies the device is permitted to use. In certain countries, legislation may require the purchase of a license to use certain frequencies.
Radio and TV interference
This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy. If not installed and used correctly in strict accordance with the instructions provided by SDF, this equipment may cause interference with radio communications.
To ascertain if interference is caused by this equipment, switch off the iMonitor and check if the interference stops.
If this equipment causes interference with a radio or any other electronic device, try the following:
- Adjust the orientation of the radio aerial until interference stops
- Move the equipment to the other side of the radio or electronic device
- Move the equipment away from the radio or electronic device
- Connect the equipment to another power circuit not connected to the radio.
To reduce potential interference, use the equipment with the lowest gain setting which still permits adequate communication.
If necessary, contact your nearest SDF dealer for assistance.
Note: any modifications or alterations to this product made without prior authorisation from SDF may void the conformity of the product with the EMC, resulting in the suspension of authorisation to use the product itself.
This product has been tested to ensure conformity with the EMC Directive using SDF peripherals, shielded cables and connectors. It is important to use SDF products to connect between components of the system to minimise the possibility of interference with other devices.
