Setting up the product database
Product definitions can be saved in one common area. This makes it possible to use common products with a range of controllers without having to enter the product name and rate repeatedly.
Preset rates, increments and product densities may be set and saved, and then recalled by the relative dosing controller.
A calibration factor is assigned to each implement product tank or bin. This means, for example, that the product urea may be saved only once, with different calibration factors assigned to each bin.
- Select Product. The wizard procedure for configuring a liquid product is displayed.
The following information must be defined for each product:
- Rate increment: this defines the incremental/decremental step applied to the rate when the operator presses the rate increase/decrease button. The rate may be modified by a fixed value or by a percentage of the value set for the parameter PRESET RATE 1.
- Preset Rate 1 / Preset Rate 2: these parameters define the preset rate values.
- Calibration factor: number of flow meter pulses per each litre of liquid product. This value may be viewed here but must be set for each individual implement and product.
