Presentation of the Fondazione SAME Foundation's solidarity projects

Treviglio, April 1st, 2025 – A meeting dedicated to the presentation of the solidarity projects promoted by the Fondazione SAME foundation, founded in 2017 with the aim of pursuing philanthropic goals in various fields, was held at the SAME Auditorium in Treviglio. The event provided an update on current activities and future prospects, with a particular focus on social inclusion, education, scientific research and sustainable development.

Dr. Aldo Carozza, Deputy Chairman of the Fondazione SAME foundation, welcomed the audience and explained the origins and spirit of the Foundation, as well as its developments and future projects.

Numerous speeches were moderated by Lodovico Bussolati, Chairman of the Fondazione SAME foundation, and Antonio Bonetti, Chairman of the Foundation's Scientific Committee.

“Solidarity is not just an institutional commitment, but a shared responsibility,” said Lodovico Bussolati. “The Foundation's projects always arise from listening to the territory, from meeting those who take charge of concrete needs. Through these initiatives, in Italy and Tanzania, we try to build together opportunities that generate value over time, particularly in the fields of education, health, social solidarity and the development of local communities."

During the meeting, the various speakers illustrated the results achieved and the main initiatives activated in recent years, thanks to the support for projects aimed at agricultural education and medical and infrastructural projects in Africa, assistance to the weakest and most needy categories, support for medical science including scientific research and the protection of cultural heritage. Among these, the projects in Tanzania have received particular attention.

“Concrete support for the projects of the Fondazione SAME foundation can come from each of us”, said Antonio Bonetti, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Fondazione SAME foundation. “Every small gesture, such as participating in existing initiatives or donating 5xmille, can help those in need.”

Projects in Tanzania
In Africa, in addition to the education sector, the Foundation has contributed to the construction of school infrastructures, the realization of a network of wells with drinking water and the creation of local health facilities. Recently, efforts have been concentrated on the creation of a “Health Center” that will be built in the Diocese of Same in the Kilimanjaro region, giving access to health care for the local population.

Future prospects
During the meeting, the various collaborations with the many organizations involved were illustrated. The commitment of the Fondazione SAME foundation will continue through the consolidation of existing projects and the identification of further areas of intervention, in line with the objectives of social inclusion and sustainable development.
